  • Underwater fishing light

Hey guys, ive been doing well fishing underwater green lights at night, but i have a question about their effectiveness. Our bayhouse is on an offshoot of a canal in sea isle, do you think trout and redfish will swim that far up into the canals? The fish i have been catching have been in main canals separate from ours.

I bet they probably will - especially if you put a light in there and the bait gets used to it and established in the area. I live 5 miles or so from the bay on the diversionary canal and we have them in the lights behind my house.
    Shut up and FISH!!

Absolutey! If you build it they will come. Green lights in the Jamacia Beach canals attract a lot of bait/fish. But it seems the farther off the main canal you are they get a little more spooky. Catch a fish they leave, relax drink a beer and they are back. Maybe that's not a problem.

Thanks for the replies guys, i really like the look of the lights. For some reason 1 subdivision on the south shoreline's lights hold 10x more fish than the others, i cannot figure out why.
