  • Causeway Night fishing 8-3-13

My fishing buddy and I hit the Causeway around 1am and stayed till 8am.
15 minutes in Mark landed a 27" speck and we though it was on!!. It was his personal Best.
But it was slow going after that. One more 17" keeper and we caught a lot of through backs.
Caught a wide variety of other fish that were too small or things we didn't won't.
Rat reds, puppy drum, lady fish. On the drive back we could see about 6 boats fishing the East side of the RR bridge.
Don't know how they were doing, but 100 yards east of them slicks were popping up.

The Blue lights are LED and don't attract Blood Sucking Mosquitos. Love them.
We used Wells Forecast and arrived at the start of the incoming Current flow.

                    Nice.

By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary.
