    surfside 8/22

    got to the surf around 5:45 a.m. Found the spot I fish at loaded with people at least 15 people got my stuff and hightailed it to where I fish at hooked up with my first fish at 6 caught one more then it slowed down then it picked back up once the Sun rose and I had my limit by 750.then I noticed one of my buddies out there and I went over there and caught 9 of his limit. once the Sun rose everyone except about three other guys had already left xpress89 was there with a couple of his friends. pretty good day in my opinion. most fish were between 17 and 21 inches the biggest going at 22

        also forgot to put in there I caught 3 Bull reds over 40 inches on a trout rod

                    Just wanted to confirm, because I have hit the surf with some of the others on here when it was rough and we threw tops. No fun at all Nice report.

                        Dang man, you are the best. Thinking about rigging up and heading down from Angleton tomorrow AM. Just real skittish about fishing your spot and may just try closer to Surfside

                          looks like I need to get some croakers. its been rough early, calms down around 10 or 11 lately.
                          the fishing was good,it was the catching that was bad.
