My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the lost fisherman. It was a sad day at the ramp. Please be careful out there.
They ran out of gas and tried pushing the boat off a reef near the channel and one of them lost their footing and got swept away in the strong current. His brother tried saving him and almost lost his own life in doing so. Another boat grabbed him before it was to late. We were able to rescue two of them and tow the boat in. The others were saved by another boater. Coast guard was searching for the victim when we left.
Incident took place at the first two bay houses going out on your left. Keep an eye out if on the water tomorrow, just in case they don't find him.
