Foggy, damp, super clear water at 48 degrees and I couldn't locate any bait around Tiki or Bird Island. Didn't stay out long. I couldn't find any signs to keep me grinding. Turned into a short skunk trip. Not quite the area your asking for but at least the water temp should be close.
Yeah, I went to Galveston Island State Park this afternoon for a wade and my results were just about the same as Diablosandwich's with one exception: I immediately realized the right foot of my waders has a huge hole. I stuck it out for a couple hours, but there was nothing around. I saw two mullet flip in two hours. On the other hand, it was a great day to fish!
Fished upper west bay Saturday all day . Saw no bait nor fish . Lost a keeper flounder and saw two dink ones in a canal . It was like a dead zone . Pelicans , gulls , and cormorants were around .

West bay is a good winter time bay . Fish were caught during the WEA tourney but it was tough . The water has been pretty cold , 47 degrees was the warmest Saturday where we fished in canals , diversionary , bay , cove . I guess they would be in chocolate , ICW . They have to eat eventually . I haven't heard about east bay reports but fish are there somewhere . It's probably just as tough there . It's part of fishing , ain't it grand ?!
