  • Epic 22SC

I checked out this new EPIC 22SC at Ron Hoover in Galveston today and was very impressed! Have any of you heard any good or bad things about this boat?

I've seen two Epics in Jamaica Beach and a buddy owns one of them; big, high-side, roomy boat with a Carolina flare, which gives it a distinctive line…... with a 150 e-tec and trailer for $33k.

Someone here in Terramar just bought a 22sc Epic. I don't know anything about the boat but it sure looks good hanging in the lift.

I looked at them, huge deck. Epic makes wake board boats. I decided against that purchase for reasons unknown.

I bought an Epic 22sc at the Boat Show this year from Hoover. @36K with trailer and a 200 Suzuki. We were looking at several in this class and notices the Epics. Fit and finish appear as good as most and far superior to a few we saw.

Epic Boats bought the idled Bay Stealth plant in Vivian, LA a few years ago to increas capacity for their wake board boats. 2011 they decided to use some of the old Bay Stealth molds using their new resin infusion. Dry hull only 1850# Should do 55+.

I only have a couple of hours on it (more ice on it than in it). But it runs dry and tight. All storage is gasketed locks. My wife fell for the yellow, but it is hard to lose in a parking lot. Hopefully more run rime this weekend and maybe a fish or two. Till then just hanging in the slings.
