You should really try the bone and silver baby buster by strike pro. It kills the trout and can be suspended or walked just under the surface or walked on top. I used it for the first time with Bruce and Kenny last weekend and it illicit a violent strike by a 20" trout if I remember correctly. It was the only one I caught with it but conditions made me switch to plastics. Its worth the money.

I've always wanted to try the Jimmy Houston SS jr. Anybody have luck with them?

I like the one knockers spooks as well. It's the midsize between the jr and the super. Just get a good quality made proven lure and ones that don't crack easily.

yeah , a good In between size for certain conditions . Fish feeding on that size bait , need more presence than the SS JR but not as intrusive as the big spook .
