  • Tx. City (Dollar point) vs. Chocolate bay.

    Taking the yaks out tomorrow morning with a buddy. anyone prefer one of these spots over the other? I don't know how the fishing is after the oil spill. any thoughts? thanks.

    Heard of some good trout being caught outside the flood gate down the shoreline back toward the dike. NFIC.

            Don't know about Chocolate but Dollar is a traditional spring time area . Waded there one spring on a XXX day . As the sun rose the moon set and 3-4 pound trout were there . Great morning for 45 minutes until they moved too deep to wade . Wish I had brought my kayak .

                    While you're at it , there's another 4 letter mystery abbreviation bandied about I don't know . I'd have to search the posts to find it .
