They are best cleaned and cooked the same day, they tend to get mushy if frozen.

      So, how ja do?

Between the mini heat stroke I had from working outside yesterday, and the Shiner Bocks last night, I was in no shape to be rock hoppin.

I wish I could have gone, I got a new fish I want to target.
      Atlantic spadefish aka angel fish.
I used to catch them using live hop-o-matics fished close in on the rocks.
I haven't caught one in a coons age.
Tasty critters from what I remember.

If they are 15 inches or bigger. I measure them just as if they were specs. Put'em on ice strait out of the water and they clean a lot easier. Very tasty.

I'll keep them if they're a decent size and cook them that night.

Good eating and fun to catch when you hit a school of them. Have to be a good size to be worth keeping.

Same here... Eat them if big. Especially if my food load is small from the trip. Wife doesn't like it when I return with nothing to cook.
