hahaha...I stayed here vs coming back to slp because i wanted to see a blanket of snow here. its been 40 all day and sunshine since 2 p.m.

im gonna go roll some dice monday and itll probably snow there for the 2nd time in the last 25 years in l.v. too.

those greens and sausage really are hard to beat, if you like them; and my mammas cornbread recipe will make you forget about everything else.

Another snow in day and I'll need to go on a diet.
All I did was cook and eat.
I fixed a big batch of deer chili yesterday and over half of it is history.
Ate enough cornbread to stuff a 20lb turkey.
Drank enough coffee to float JT's BlackJack.
Made a loaf of pecan banana bread,.....
And now that someone mentioned it, I'm thinking about fixing some red beans and rice and sausage for tomorrow.
Glad the snow is over,.....another day of eating like this and I would have to borrow some of Moonpies handmedowns.

I played in a Pro-am years back, Earl was our celebrity, he looked at me on the 14th hole and said Pro, you got any advice, I gave him a simple swing thought, he every fairway and green coming in, on the 18th fairway he looked at me and said, Pro, this is just like the 4th quarter, the game is almost over and I am just getting ready to play!!!!!

When schools were intergrated in Tyler; Earl, Tim and Steve Campbell came to my jr high. ive known them since.
You cant say that anybody is a better football player than Earl. Ever in history.

I see Tim every now and then when Im up there.

RC also has some good recipes for homos at his place in Fart Bend County. And Michelle, I can tell you what to do with pho. ok?

The best in Clear Lake area is Pho' Hoang across from NASA on Nasa1. There is also Pho' Hoang on Bay Area just past Space Center, but there is a MUCH better place just north of the beltway that is worth the drive.
