Looking into home insurance, flood, homeowners and texas windstorm. Who have y'all had good luck with. Thanks

I use Farmers - shop around for the home / fire policy - you can generally get a deal on that. As for flood and windstorm you're screwed. It costs what the state says it costs no matter who you go with. Check with the company you have auto insurance with. You get a better deal when you bundle policies.

ps.. Texas windstorm was in receivership last I heard. Ike broke them. Next big storm I bet they go bankrupt before they pay a third of the claims. Still gotta have it though if you have a mortgage.
