Good rods, as are Lagunas. Everyone has a preference and both are good peeps. Contact Chris on Hookset Marine here off the board...he can hook you up at a good price I'm sure.

Yeah, I was just going to mention Charlie...I've been wanting to see his work. I've heard good things.

I have a few Waterloo rods, last summer I broke one while wade fishing I hooked up with a big rock or shell and it was too deep to retrieve, as I was doing my best to get it loose it had broke in 3 pieces. I call waterloo they said send it in and they would look at it to see what they could do. To my surprise they sent me a new rod at no charge. Great customer service I would recommend them.

the pro wader from Charlie is cheaper than the $250 you set as your limit. He also has the Plugger model that is even cheaper. Call him up. 979-864-9356

Waterloo rods are great, I got an hp lite and love it. The hp lite is pretty inexpensive compared to most of the upper end rods. At the boat show you can get one for around 175-200 depending on the eyes. Ask Aqua Pimp about the hp lite, I think he calls it the "Whoopin Stick" lol..
