Hold your Christmas money until the Boat Show. I will at the American Rodsmiths booth and they will sell things at a great price during the show. If you want to look at one of the most reasonably priced rods that is as light as anytihing on the market and twice as durable...... Go Check out the Troutmaster Lite series. Green graphite, I have been fishing one all year and can't stand when I have to cast on of my older rods. The grip is a closed cell foam, not like the old EVA. It doesn't get slippery when you get slime on your hands. I have cast and fished all of the best stuff that you could name over the last 20 years, and for a buck fifty, I think, these rods ROCK!!!!
Keep in mind that I have a garage full of All Star Titaniums, G.Loomis, have fished the Lagunas, WaterLoo....You name it and I have cast it.
