Thanksgiving week

I will be fishing thanksgiving week from tiki Island and am new to the area.

Will run to the channel for flounder was wondering about Trout fishing.

West bay looks difficult to navigate if unfamliar. Will be in an epic so 2 to 2.5 foot is not a big issue but below that need to cautious.

Any Trout suggestions for a newbie

I live over there in BV. West bay can eat your lunch if your not careful. Stay to the main channel markers and idle in slow to your fishing spot kind of using a 90 degree rule. Tiki area is infested and surrounded by reefs so all the guts in that area produce nice reds and trout. South and north deer island are also great spots but do have some hidden reefs.... ease into these areas very slowly. I see people jacked up on reefs every weekend with destroyed lower units out here. good luck and be careful.
