My adjuster was a contractor working for TWIA. His findings seemed fair at the time of inspection. However, he sends the info to TWIA and they make the final determination. It has been a week plus since the inspection and no word from TWIA. Not sure if they will be fair or not. Hope it goes well for you.
Make darn sure you get the WP-9 Form or whatever the fark it is or you'll be like a goat on estrus in Iran.

Be sure if you have gutters they adjust them and also your condenser unit coils if the hail was blown by the wind. Window frames and screens can have holes chips and dents also and your Hot H2O heater and furnace vent. Metal doors along with your garage door too and window shutters. Paint job on exposed wood and soffits and eaves is often overlooked.
I went through the same thing 2 years ago but had video pictures and a freezer full of hail balls. My neighbors used these also.
One neighbor had a new roof put on 2 months earlier and State Farm replaced his also.

HAR! It's a WPI-8. Make sure your project is inspected by a TWIA-approved engineer or one that TWIA sends out for EVERYTHING structural, including the roof. You or your contractor can hire an independent engineer, or TWIA will inspect the work for free if you call them for inspections....your agent can school you on this process. You will first get a WPI-2 from them, then upon final inspection, the engineer will register the WPI-8 with TWIA in Austin. If your contractor looks at you funny when you request a WPI-8 before final payment, lose his number. Most of this is handled by your insurance agent, tho because they are going to want to see all the repairs inspected to renew your insurance. Problem is, if you can spell contractor in Texas, YOU IS ONE!

Thanks fellas, I called my State Farm agent and they contacted the TWIA adjuster. The adjuster came out yesterday and we look over everything together. One thing I didnt know was the damage to contents such as tables, chairs, etc.. have a different deductable. I hope they write me a big enought check so I can DIY some of the things and cover my deductables.
