Thought I'd forego the trump news this morning and get out before the heat. Launched solo to a low tide and flew out the flood gate to a deep water reef I like. Water was pushing through the gate as the tide was coming in nicely. Caught two gaff top on lil john's and went back into the lake to a good reef and picked up two red drum. All fish released for someone else to enjoy. The west wind had a little north in it that made a nice chill. Refreshing! Back home to enjoy a cup of community coffee with my mate. Was good to get out.
