12/14 report. Red limit/ nice trout

Launched near Bayou Vista before light in the yak. Got it started real early with a solid 23 inch red before any light broke. Ended up landing two more reds for the limit and a couple healthy trout to 21 inches. Released another red and decided to call it an early day when the water started looking more muddy around noon.
Shout out to Chickenboy lures for putting the fish on the stringer. These lures are becoming my confidence soft plastics quickly.

It's my first Kayak, so I don't have much basis for comparison. That being said, I couldn't imagine a better yak...it's fast and tracks very well. I'm so used to fishing out of the scanoe, I feel like I'm a rocket on the water now.
