Fishing has been down right great lately for me, luckily I have some good friends who have boats an we been getting it done. I'm still boatless unfortunately, there are no lower units anywhere an they are on back order through Yamaha till early September.

Anyways fishing has been great we been catching them on tops Croaker's,and plastics early in the morning topwater has been hard to beat but once sun gets up it seems to die down an plastics an croaks have been hitting em hard, been fishing the south shoreline of west bay, bird island flats,and some near the mouth of chocolate. We've been catching solid fish at all of these spots with a few fish in the upper 20" range most of them been 17-19" an healthy an Fat. All fish over 24" have been released. Reds have been a lil shallower an seem to be hanging in the knee deep range around scattered shell.

Can't wait to get my boat back!!! 😭

Neil is good people I really enjoy fishing with him ,he is the one who towed me in an it was a blessing meeting him we have became great friends and hes just an all around bad ***** dude

Yea its really frustrating, its not like its a rare motor its a vmax hpdi series 2 225 Yamaha I see them everywhere.

Bro you are on fire for sure.. I spent the last couple weeks in Mexico unwinding but wish now I was fishing with you. On that lower unit issue,,,,, Have you tried Fernando over at FCJ... He has some trade in motors yamys and im sure he could get you one as a temp fix to get you back on the water as a temp anyways.. Id be happy to shout at him for ya and see if he could hook you up.
