Is there any place to cast for bait in Galveston left? Most of the places that I know are no longer available. The cost of live baits are getting more expensive. I fished mostly with artificial baits but slow lately. Thanks in advance.

The "strip club" marsh between Tiki and Bayou Vista on 45 has bait in all those small sloughs
The ditch running on the E. side of the Hwy 6 bridge over Highland Bayou by Luis Bait Camp. South side of the road.
The small finger canals further to the W. on Hwy 6 where the water comes near the road. There is a small canal to the S. of the road, and marsh to the N.

Any of the marsh ponds on the way to the South Jetty near the lagoon and in the lagoon has plenty of bait this time of year.Comment
