                        The landing has been a problem in 2016 I had a big *** doormat in gorda and lost her at the harpoon!

                            This has become my artificial lure flounder hook ... 1/8 to 3/8 ounce weight . Minimal hang ups .

                              Wait longer before setting the hook perhaps ... We are talking artificials , right ? Often they have the plastic between their teeth while you haul it in . Near the surface they see you and open their mouth and swim away .
