I would like to thank Dane and Megan Dupuis for towing us back from the ICW to Bastrop Marina yesterday. Thought we might be out of gas, gas gauge is not working and the boat is new to me. They were kind enough to tow us back. Went to fill the tank and go back out, but it only took seven gallons. We put the boat back on the trailer and I dropped it off at Bartlett's marine in Lake Jackson. They found the fuel line was crap, had an inner plastic liner that collapsed were it's inserting into a fitting, and was restricting the fuel. Anyways, thanks again to Dane and Megan for your help. Could have been a lot worse! I've heard of people burning up fuel pumps like that. Glad you got it fixed!

I've had reoccurring bad dreams, awfull dreams about having something happen out on the water at 2:45 and not having any beer and no phone to place a bet on the 3 o'clock games.

Almost makes a guy want to have a 2nd Bote following him or just say (censored) it and not go out at all on a Saturday/Sunday.

Sea Tow is $149 / year and they reimbursed me within 2 weeks when Tow Boat US showed up & charged me... 1 tow is an easy $300. The timer starts when the rescue party leaves the dock.
