  • What's that smell?

It's skunk! For the first time in a very long time I went out and caught nothing...notta...zilch. Fished Tuesday afternoon in West Bay...and went to a couple of spots where I caught them last week thinking they'd be ready to just jump in the boat...but they didn't cooperate.

We had bait and moving water ahead of a front. I guess we'll get 'em next time.

That little trough had a bigger punch than most expected... the pressure didn't change much, but it was enough.

We threw everything we had at them Tobin. Started at 1p and ended at 5p with our tails between legs.

Finished the day at Waterman's for a cocktail so it wasn't a total write off.

I've had days like that, but they're usually tournament days! Lol!

Thanks for sharing the humbling experience . It wouldn't be as much fun if it was a sure thing every outing .
