Fished early Sunday morning for a few hours, initially battling the thick fog that rolled in. Drifted the flat in my kayak with some left over live shrimp from the guest we had down this weekend, and caught one of the biggest specks that I've caught at 27 inches, 6lbs 7oz. Also pickup a nice 25" slot redfish and caught and released at least 10 small rat reds. I'll take a morning like that any time!

Dang nice pair of fish!"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

Another good Sunday morning
I had another quality Sunday morning fishing outing on Dec 3rd fishing again with live shrimp (wish I could have made it down on Saturday for the fishing tournament). Ended up with a stringer of good fish. Two 25-26" redfish, one 24 inch 4 lb trout, and three other trout over 21 inches. Also caught several small trout, rat reds, a black drum, and even a stringray for good measure. Overall winds were light and there was quite a bit of bait in the water (mostly mullet). My freezer is pretty well stocked for now, so will be doing mostly catch and release for a while moving forward. Just bought a phone mount with extension pole for my kayak, so I can take selfy photos of my future catches on the water before I release them.
