South Deer Island

Thinking about going to take my kayak out tomorrow morning for Christmas Eve... Was thinking about South Deer Island. Usually, I never leave the SLP but it has been cold and struggling. Any tips on plastics to use out there? Usually I am a chartrouse colored guy. I feel the cold front will have an effect tomorrow. Any tips let me know I'm open for opinions!

Plum chartreuse assassins or red shad assassins if you’re gonna throw plastics. I’d have a corky or softdine in the box as well. Can’t go wrong with light colors in the clear water. Chartreuse or pink etc..
