Hard Freeze Question

I've been following the latest weather forecast (if you don't follow https://spacecityweather.com/ check them out) and they are calling for a hard freeze Monday and Tuesday night all the way South to the coast. Sustained temps in the mid-20's both nights.

My question: At what point do we get concerned about the impact to the fish population? Is a hard freeze along the coast for 2 nights going to have an impact or does it take longer/colder temps to do any damage?

The back lakes froze over 8 years ago. It didn’t hurt much... fish are going to move and find the warm spots.

I'm fishing Offatts Friday after all the closures-Depending on the wind action...They're already stacked up in there.

i think the water temps have to be close to the freezing range for a few days to cause any damage.
the fish will find the deep holes if there are any and there are laws against dragging a shrimp net through those holes.

I read where temps in the 40s are deadly for specs. A little colder for reds and flounder.
Pray this will not be a major kill.

Its going to be fine..

The only thing killing specs in west bay right now is the Aqua "mutha f--ng Pimp"; as in big ones and big numbers
