Me and Klown got out Saturday morning (12/30) for some pre-front fishing. We started out wading throwing tops...but didn't get a single look. Not 1 blowup. Couldn't find bait and the tides were ripping. After 2 or so hours of grinding through intermittent rain showers, we decided to go find some deeper water with less current.
Tried several different spots and managed to find a few. Ended with 14 keeper trout to 22" and 1 keeper flounder. Soft plastics worked low and slow.
Was going to try it again this morning (12/31) but woke to less than ideal conditions.
