West Bay Report - 3/23/19

Me and two buddies pushed the dock in JB around 6:45a Saturday morning. Winds were around 10 mph from the SE and an incoming tide. First spot, caught 2 undersized reds right after we got in the water. Then nothing. Second spot...3 keeper trout to 18"...and a bunch of schoolies all right around 14". Tried several more spots but could not find bait fish.

Fished several different color plastics with 1/4 and 1/8 oz jigs. Ended the day with just those 3 keeper trout.

Hoping for better luck when we fish the Blackjack Tourney in a couple weeks.
