I still remember the excitement of seeing Star Wars for the first time in 1977. I had just turned 4 years old. My favorite character was Chewbacca. Those 3 original movies were a huge part of my growing up experience. They're still a treasure to me. My present Maine Coon cat is named Wookiee. So sad to lose this gentle giant, and naturalized Texan. He was 74, but to all of us, his fans, he was over 200 years old in 1977. Rest in Peace Chewie.
