WB in the wind!

This weekend I headed down to West Bay and fought the wind Saturday. We went across the bay but it was so windy it just seemed miserable. So we stayed on south shoreline and had the most luck in Snake Island Cove. Tried grass flats to the west but nada. Big shout out to Greg Francis THE aqua pimp for sharing his knowledge on our last trip. Without his info and teaching I have no doubt I would have come home empty handed. Instead, we ground it out and ended up with 6 keeper trout, several unders and a few under reds. Best part of the long day was of course a few beers and dinner at the Sandbar Grille. Hated to leave Sunday, it was a nice 10-12 mph wind but had to get back up north. Until next time!
