Sunday morning I waded north shore west of Carancahua Cut. I had not been there in years and was happy to see grass and green water. A line of birds was working a long stretch of the shore. Got an early slap at at top water, and changed to paddletails. Several juvenile reds around 15-18 inches stretched the line. I was hoping a school of trout would be around, but I did not find any. I think I will try the south shore closer to SLP this Thursday.
