Lake Como

Can anyone tell me if Lake Como is navigable or free from Ike Debri and if the boat ramp at Waterman's is usable? I know that Watermans is closed down, but is the use of the ramp permitted? My son is in town next week for spring break and I was thinking about taking him down to Galveston State Park and camping out for a few nights. I was wanting to bring my boat and launch from there daily. Spend the days fishing (weather permitting) and nights sitting around a campfire enjoying his company.

Watermans is closed down, you can use the ramp. The ramp is clear of any obstructions. They have removed all big items in Lake Como they did scanned the entire floor with sonar marking items needing to be removed.

Most of West Bay is cleared of debri. you might find something random in shallow areas, but not much else that would effect navigation.
