  • Any law against this?

We are having a father son camp out next weekend at Galveston Island State Park and 3 of us are bringing boats. Since there are no docks at the park, I am thinking we can just anchor the boats overnight in Lake Como up close to the bank adjacent to the park.

What say ye mariners of this idea?

Just be sure lights are on while anchored.

I've seen it done but I don't think you will be able to see your boats from camp.

Not that much different than a Karankawa indian hunting the shallows at night with a torch and a spear.
