Hit the Pass this Morning

Hit up the south shoreline this morning fishing the incoming tide. Water was clear and the mullet were thick thick THICK. A couple of slicks popped up early in the wade. We only caught 2 trout both around 22". Both were caught on tails and the bites were timid. Kinda slow for that spot this time of year at least in my experiences. All in all a fun day, beautiful water, and cold beer.

Retired! I wish.. I have about 40 years left to work according to Uncle Sam, or maybe 50 years at the rate the government is spending my taxes!

I did try a spook actually... just to piss off that one big mama that I knew was in there... Maybe next time.....

Also, I did not see any rays...
