With the tides being so high with there be lots of flooding or no? I am new to this and was wondering if I would be able to make it there on friday if the storm stays on the track further south? I will be going to terramar.

Tides will still be higher even if it hits Mexico given the counter clockwise rotation of a hurricane, but it won't keep you from getting to terramar. I will be just east of the Pass at Pointe West. -
There is a coastal flood warning in effect already. I sure hope it does not keep us out of Terramar, since I live here full time now!

Looking at the tidal events and the warnings, Freeport hit 3 feet of above normal tide Tuesday morning at 7.33am. I think there is about a 4.5 hour difference to Jamaica beach so whatever flooding you saw at noon Tuesday, add about a foot to that for Wednesday at noon and just over a foot for Thursday. That should give you a good idea to what water levels you would see. I doubt it will put water in my garage, need about 5 feet to do that, but I did put things up on shelves.

Can someone at Jam beach, sea isle or Terramar advise how high the tides are tomorrow when they see the water levels? High tide here in Jamacia Beach is around 11:40 AM tomorrow. Water is just below our bulkhead right now with low tide around 4:00 AM in the morning. Wind blowing out of the east. I'm sure water will be over the bulkhead by high tide tomorrow. If I can do anything down this way let me know.Comment

Tide was 10" below bulkhead in Pirates. I could have taken the Gator-Tail across from KOA on a dead line to Sandy's camp... if it raises another 6"We are West End Anglers, a saltwater tribe!Comment
