Oh boy! Where to begin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First off forget stuff like forums, games, etc.
Academy is supposed to be in the business of selling sporting goods.
Make it easy for us to BUY from them.
1.) They should have ALL products listed and PRICED.
2.) We should be able to see what products are available/in stock at each store.
Maybe not something as small as individual lures but if I'm looking for a kayak or rifle I should be able to see where one is so i can go look at it.
3.) If Academy doesn't sell/ship outright to on-line customers then we should have the ability to order something thru the website and then go get it at the local store when it arrives. For example: Waders or shoes. If the store doesn't have the correct size,(which it NEVER does) we order them and then go get them.West End Anglers - You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.

Besides, going to Academy is like going to Home Depot. It's more about the experience and all the stuff you didn't know you needed until you went in there.
Home Depot has a pretty good web site, but when was the last time you bought something off of it? I want to pick my own 2x4s from the stack.

I like BPS site. I have ordered a ton of stuff from them instead of driving from woodlands to katy or the 288 store.
They have a nice assortment of offshore stuff. Thats where the expensive items are. Gander has a simular problem.
They a small selection of offshore equipment but are increasing each time I go there.NoBama

I wish they'd give a discount when buying over $5000 worth nof stuff in one purchase for fishing tourneys-I won't buy tourney stuff there anymore-the manager at Galveston used to give me 10% off, but he was let go and the replacement was an arrogant jerk and said no discount and I had $6500 to spend-PO'd me and I don't go to the Galveston store unless I just have to.
I don't buy stuff online except airfares-hackers steal info (just my opinion) and I been ID thefted from a store (it got hacked) and had to get new credit cards issued-was a PITA."Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

I just go there and buy. The one problem is not knowing what is at the store You go to. I went last week to get a "Santa Fe" grill (name of grill) and they didn't have one, they looked and told Me other stores that had them but I wan't going to another store. They told Me they had none on order and that they had sold three that week and still had none on order. Duh....
I will still go there because I buy My 15 year olds Tennis shoes there and I have one more size to go and then I have to go to the Sasquatch store. He is in a size 13--4E now and I think they go to 14.

I don't know about their "nitch" but I'm pretty sure it's not cost effective to ship a couple of 2X4's!"GET OFF MY REEF!"
