I can't decide if I want to

A: take the canoe towards san leon and fish the flats...not sure how rough it will be... Why didn't my fiance get me a kayak like I asked for darn it.


B: go to gisp where I know it will be calmish but probably too hot and runoffy for fish right now.

Or

C: just fish the surf from land

Ohh the decisions

gisp will not be too bad on the runoff by then. San Leon should also be fine with the winds switching out of the West over the next couple days.

Thanks. I was thinking san leon would be fine with the change but man someone farts in the water and the canoe goes arockin I am building an outrigger...and going to buy a real boat. It takes longer to load and unload my canoe than a boat

They did. You have to be a resident and have a special permit. Luckily I have both. The permit is only $400. They are strictly enforcing it with several patrol boats and people on shore. They are urging us to keep the fish from different areas of Clear Lake and on the flats to bring them in for testing. Only 10 of us got the permits. Everyone else stay clear the tickets are huge!
