Been a long last few days and am realizing that I can't go like I used to.
Thursday got up at 4:00 am and fished, then to work and dinner with the fam.
Friday up early and and left at 6:00am. Took the family to Brenham to the Blue Bell factory and then back to work in the afternoon.
We then went to a birthday party for my friend's daughter's 30th Birthday. They called it a 70s Disco Zombie Pub Crawl. I now feel like a zombie and am barely crawling, so I understand what they meant.
They rented a party bus, so we met and ate barbecue and had a few drinks before leaving at 7:30pm. We started at Anvil, a pub on Westheimer which was pretty cool. We had several rounds of shots and drinks.
2nd stop was The Marquis II, renowned for their super strong Long Island Iced Tea. We had a couple of those, threw some darts and then headed out.
We then headed to the Flying Saucer and had beer from their list of 100 beers as well as some appetizers.
We ended the night at Katz Deli for breakfast and then back on the bus and finally back at our cars at 4:15am,
I slept for an hour and had to get KC up and take her to Freshman orientation at Cy Ranch. Got back at about 1:00 and went straight to bed and slept for 5 hours and still feel like death warmed over. No more of that for me! We got caught in the traffic from that big truck fire this am on the way to Cypress, which did not help my mood at 6:45am.
