Port Aransas Arti Bait

For anyone who has fished down in Port Aransas, any recommendations on what kind of artificial lures to use down in Port Aransas. I have never been before and any advice would be appreciated.

anything that workss here will work there...topwaters /jigs
i just returned yesterday ... had the mrs w/ me so we used live bait
but i saw a group of waders just inside the Lydia Ann Channel
we fished the jettys and the channel caught redfish and sm tarpon!!

I fish with the same arties pretty much all the time... The fish don't care where you are... LOL

Chris if your looking for reds you can find them on the backside of san jose island towards rockport or on the lighthouse side all along the other side of the channel.You can also catch all kinds of stuff in the channel if the water color is good.....good luck
