First pro game I ever saw was Blanda vs Namath in Rice Stadium. I was forced to root for the Jets since Namath was from Alabama, but that was the day I became an Oilers fan.

thanks for that George Blanda. RIP.

My dad used to say he was the John Wayne of the gridiron. Rest in peace old warrior.

He was also a heck of a kicker.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

I have a 1960 something Oilers signed football with his autograph on it.
I think his snapper (center) was Bobby Maples?
