  • Wading Foot Pain

Seems strange, I don't recall ever having this issue. I just switched waders as some of y'all remember I got a new pair from Orvis after my old pair ripped.

I was out hunting in some marsh Saturday & Sunday nasty mucky bottom so moving & picking up the dekes was tough. Not sure if I strained a muscle, but there is a dull pain in the arch of my right foot. My left is fine. Anyone else ever have this happen, I'm sure I can't be the the only one. Pain is present after I plant my foot and go to move forward on the ball of my foot, heel is in the air. Again only on the right side.

Negative. Very healthy besides some bad habits... I am "ultra preferred" according to my life insurance

It may be the shoe of the new waders; I have an analogous problem running in Nike shoes. I get the same pain in the arch from running and it gets worse over time. When I switched to back to ASICS running shoes it went away. Not exactly the same, but the waders were the only new variable....

I just changed the insoles on my new work boots this morning due to the same pain... too much arch support!! You probably dont have that convenience in those fancy waiters. Grandma says try soaking your foot in epsom salts and put the lime in the coconut whatever that means!

Sounds like the arch in your foot fell. Roll your foot on a can good or canned beverage. This should help with the pain in a couple of days...
I never saw a wild thing feel sorry for itself. A small baby bird will fall frozen, dead from a bough without ever having felt sorry for itself...

I looked at the boot it's a completely flat insole & the waders came with some liners that I put my feet in... I'll have to take a photo interesting design. BRB...

I would say it's a strained tendon since it only hurts one way. Rest and stretch it and it should get better.
