      A bit more complex. Most propeller-driven airplanes have a "constant speed prop". You set the desired propeller RPM with one of the engine controls. The engine governor then varies the prop pitch using engine oil pressure to try to maintain that RPM. A typical WOT max RPM (takeoff power) is 2700 RPM, and cruise power is 2400 RPM.

        The outboard is a 1984 Yamaha 175. I think it needs to be about 14 1/2" Diameter X 17" pitch, 4-blade, SS. Let me know what ya got.
