Did just what you said, Plugger. Headed over to North Deer Island and ran around with the trolling motor. The water was clearish and the tide was going out. Caught a 20" red and a 16" trout on purple and chartreuse Chicken Boy.

Better than we did yesterday. Was the 1st day in idk how long I laid a goose egg. Boat ran great tho so it was still a good day on the water.

I'm stuck up in Lubbock visiting with my inlaws. Damn I wish I was on the water. I haven't been skunked in almost two weeks and the smell is starting to wear off. Man I miss that salty water.
