Fishing was great unfortunately my phone was not charged but the water temp was around 77 with 10-15 mph winds from the NNE I used a down south lure plum colored with the chartreuse tail caught two rat reds and one slot red followed by one undersized flounderOriginally posted by kenny View Post

Well, was you in a wet suit? Was you in a slicker suit? Rained all day here in Angleton. Not a refreshing Summer rain; the kind you used to run out and play in when you were a kid, but a moderately chilly, miserable downpour. My rain gauge, which was an ice chest I left for nature to rinse out, filled up all the way to the top. I got out today between 11:30a and 2p. And I sucked. Hard east wind and a steady rain. Foul hooked a large mullet that made my heart skip a beat. Lost a small red at the boat. That was it.
But I was fishing...
