Don't forget the throw cushion-per USCG, they told me it had to be "handy" at all times.
Type IV flotation devices like them seat cushions are great to have, and they float real good ... not to mention they feel good on your backside especially when flying down the choppy waters. Yes, the USCG likes them and they qualify on a small bote.
