you may have a point. i think id rather be in a warm and cozy casino vs. that b.s. i told ap tue that im ready for blasting out at 5 am wearing shorts and cut off shirts. and worrying about the ice melting in the beer chest.

Thanks for the report and pic. Good going !! The water doesn't feel as cold when you're hooked up, huh ?!

Good work! Any clues on the depth, bottom type, and tide?

Depth, we were standing in waist deep water casting to about chest deep. Tide was still flowing out hard, bottom type was..... Uh.....well....You know.....MUD.

Look up the post today about the archived article from AquaPimp. He really lets a lot of good info go. Coe also posted one of my old ones, and there will be more over the next few weeks. Most are winter big trout related.

More than any other single thing, you need to find the mud that is adjacent to any other type of bottom structure. Shell, Grass, Sand, doesn't matter. Also, look for the subtle drop offs, even 6-10 inches can make a fish highway.

Those were some nice fish. Hopefully we can get back on them soon. Maybe next time we can get some more pictures and not have to land them holding them under the water.
